Crypto Price Data Aggregator and Analytics Modeling Dashboard Application Powered by ECHO

Objective

Our client, a dynamic start-up specializing in crypto trading data solutions, required a robust and versatile crypto data application capable of aggregating live price data from multiple exchanges, building an extensive historical database, and empowering users with on-demand analytical capabilities. Their goal was to leverage the powerful connectivity solutions of our ECHO platform to achieve this, enabling them to model real-time arbitrage price relationships, generate historical trend analysis charting, and perform custom analytics across numerous cryptocurrencies on-demand.

Solution

EC leveraged the connectivity capabilities of our ECHO platform to deliver a system integration with Brave New Coin. Through our custom API connection with Brave New Coin, we utilized our ECHO backend to feed into Grafana, which provided a dashboard of tools, custom charting, and powerful analytical visualization metrics.

Implementation

  • Live Price Data Aggregation

    Our ECHO-powered solution enabled users to access live price data across a wide range of crypto exchanges. Through advanced API integrations, we provided real-time streaming of pricing information, ensuring users had up-to-date market insights for beyond thousands of cryptocurrency data points.

  • Grafana Data Visualization

    As a major part of this project, we integrated Grafana, a powerful data visualization tool, into our solution. Grafana allowed us to create custom dashboards, charts, and visualizations tailored to our client's needs. Brave New Coin's data fed into our ECHO backend on a hosted machine, where we seamlessly integrated the Grafana solution. This high level of data aggregation allowed us to develop powerful charting capabilities, offering tick-level bid-ask charts and the ability to model and visualize historic exchange arbitrage values across numerous exchanges.

  • Flexible Analytics and Reporting

    Leveraging ECHO's backend capabilities and Grafana’s flexibility, we created an extensive set of modeling options, custom charting features, and dashboard reporting elements. Users could create and analyze custom strategies, simulate crypto portfolios, and perform a wide range of analytics, all with the ability to export data in various formats, including automated CSV outputs.

  • Integration with Multiple Data Sources

    Our ECHO-powered solution seamlessly integrated with Brave New Coin’s API, providing users with an extensive data source. Additionally, ECHO's adaptability allowed for integration with WebSocket APIs from other data providers and exchanges, giving users the flexibility to access data beyond the Brave New Coin feed.

Results

The live price data aggregation, coupled with our integration into Grafana’s charting capabilities, empowered users to monitor arbitrage opportunities, uncover emerging trends, and perform custom analytics tailored to their specific needs. The integrations through ECHO enriched the user experience by offering intuitive and interactive data visualization, enhancing the overall value of the application. With the ability to visualize, model, and export data easily, our client was able to generate the type on-demand insights they required.
